eOrigen.com scoops industry's top multimedia prize at the IVCA Awards
Multimedia content solutions company eOrigen.com, specialists in blended media solutions for learning and corporate communications requirements has won Gold at the IVCA awards held in London on Friday 24th March 2006.
This year's 40th International Visual Communication Association (IVCA) Awards celebrated the finest achievements in corporate communication and recognised business effectiveness, originality, creativity and production arts in corporate film, video and interactive media.
The event, one of the largest and most important occasions of its kind in the world, was attended by commissioners, production companies, members of industry, the government and media.
eOrigen.com won Gold for the "best internal multimedia computer based programme to train, inform, or educate people" with its NHS Non-Medical Prescribing programme. This year is the first time the company has submitted an entry to the IVCA and was runner up at both the IITT and WOLCE awards for their e-Citizen work last year.
The North West Strategic Health Authority in collaboration with The North West Non-Medical Prescribing Education Group selected eOrigen.com from over 6 leading elearning organisations in the UK to work with them on the government-sponsored Non-Medical Prescribing elearning Project.
The project, a high-profile blended learning programme, required a total multimedia content solution including Instructional Design, a series of Video scenarios, a suite of elearning materials and various workbook assignments as well as a dedicated information website and post launch training.
Only two leading elearning UK companies offered the right blend of high quality solutions. Mike Brownsell said "We selected eOrigen.com because of their innovative approach to meeting the project aims, and enthusiasm to work flexibly and in partnership with the project team".
