eOrigen awarded another training package for British Energy
eOrigen.com's successful long term supply of CBT and DVD training projects to British Energy since 1999 continues, with another project being awarded to eOrigen.com
The company has been commissioned by British Energy to produce a programme to illustrate safe working practices when working with Low Voltage and Extra Low Voltage electrical apparatus. Although the name suggests a low level of risk to the layman, low voltage and extra low voltage apparatus are extremely hazardous if the correct procedures are not employed.
A DVD video forms part of a blended learning package that includes an integrated workbook, computer delivered assessment and instructor led training sessions as required. The course covers safe working practices and legal responsibilities of those organising and carrying out the work. It can be studied on an individual basis or as part of a group and is assessed by both electronic and paper based examinations.
Other programmes produced for British Energy include Safe Unescorted Access to Site, Pre-Job Brief, Contributing to Excellence, Radiological Safety, Emergency Arrangements, Confined Spaces, Risk Assessment, Nominated Competent Person, Authorised Persons, Nominated Supervisor and others.
